Bio: Professor Maria Katarzyna Borszewska-Kornacka is the former president of the polish neonatal society and former chair of the Neonatology division at the Princess Anna Mazowiecka Clinical Hospital of the Medical University in Warsaw. She authored over 600 peer reviewed publications, She founded in 2012 the Colaition for preemies in an effort to foster collaboration between neonatologists dedicated to improve neaonatal outcomes. She officially retired in 2018, her retirement party was attended by the Polish First Lady (Agata Kornhauser-Duda.). Despite her retirement, her calendar remains nonetheless full as she gives lectures and participates in many institutions not only in Poland, but also in Ukraine.
We had the pleasure of also hosting Elżbieta Brzozowska is the vice president of the Coalition for a Premature Baby Foundatio. She is the mother of 4 children, who has been running a consulting company dealing with health issues for 10 years, including neonatology for 8 years. She has been associated with the Coalition for preemies since its inception. Involved in projects to improve the healthcare system for premature babies, but also communication between medical staff and parents of premature babies.
