My Story

Dr. Maryam Bakhtiari is a pediatrician with a special interest in neonatology and neonatal neurology. She completed her medical degree in 2015 at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Her journey continued with a residency in pediatrics at one of Iran's leading children's university hospitals, known for its busy pediatrics emergency department. In 2020, she was honored as the "top pediatric resident," a recognition of her commitment and hard work and then achieved her pediatric board certification in 2021, reaching the fifth position in national standings.

Dr. Bakhtiari is currently gaining valuable experience by working in various NICUs, moving closer to her dream of becoming a neonatologist and neonatal neurologist. She has a passion for teaching, mentoring, and research and aspires to pursue an academic career in the future.

In her free time, she loves the fun and challenge of board games and puzzles. She and her husband are avid escape room enthusiasts, where they both thrive on the pulse-pounding excitement of problem-solving adventures. In moments of relaxation, she enjoys watching movies, reading books, and attempting to teach their beloved cockatiel, NABAAT, to talk (although success has eluded them thus far).
